Fibromyalgia Disabilities

The causes and symptoms of fibromyalgia are quite vague. Even the kinds of disabilities caused by the disease are neither well defined and nor are they uniform. The disabilities caused by this condition vary greatly from person to person.

When individuals suffering from this condition file for disability benefits, they hardly ever get them. The biggest reason perhaps, is that those suffering from fibromyalgia do not look sick. The most important thing then becomes awareness. Awareness is extremely essential for especially those who have loved ones suffering from this condition. Due to the ?invisibility? of this disease, loved ones may otherwise find it difficult to understand the situation.

One must also understand that disability is not always a condition where a certain organ stops functioning. Continuous pain may also reduce or negate a person?s ability to perform. In the situation of the chronic and benumbing pain that patients of fibromyalgia go through, leading a normal life becomes almost impossible. The difficulty to diagnose patients with this condition makes the condition even worse.

One thing that you need to keep in mind if you are applying for the Social Security Disability Insurance as a patient of fibromyalgia is that you should not have been on leave from your work for more than five years. Otherwise, in that case you are not eligible for the insurance.

A little study will give you the links to a number of resources online that will help you find valuable information regarding your claim to the Social Security Disability Insurance that is your right as a patient of fibromyalgia.

The Sad Saga of an Ingrown Toenail

Here's the deal, if you've ever had an ingrown toenail, it is one health condition that you will never forget!

It really doesn't matter if you are a boy or a girl, a man or a woman, we all are susceptible to this potentially painful toe condition. One of the biggest challenges is that the aching pain and throbbing of that toe can nearly drive you to your knees at times.

A common foot condition, an ingrown toes occurs when the sharp edge of the toenail begins to burrow its way into the soft and fleshy part of the toe skin that surrounds the nail.

One of the first symptoms is the pain, redness and edema found along the edge of the skin where the nail is pushing into the tender toe skin. This happens because as the nail itself is growing, the sharp edge of the nail decides to bury itself in the side of the toe. Good grief! What is that toenail thinking!!

This condition occurs most commonly to the great big toe and if it is bad enough, the ingrown toenail can even lead to an infection of the nail. This of course will require even more extensive treatment in order to battle back the toe infection.

Now hear this! If you have an ingrown toenail and you get an infection, you cannot ignore it! The infection must be treated. Without proper treatment your toenail may develop an abscess and have to treated surgically for adequate management.

However, if the pain from the toenail is severe or spreading, then you should see your physician for her help to relieve the pain of the ingrown toenail.

It is important to remember that if you have diabetes or any other health condition that causes poor circulation to your feet or one that puts you at a higher risk for any type of infection, then you should not try to treat an ingrown toenail on your own. You must see your health care provider for assistance.

You must deal with an ingrown toenail. It really doesn't matter if you do it yourself or if your health care provider has to help you out, an ingrown toenail is not going to simply resolve on its own.

The ingrown toenail that is throbbing and aching right now, is something that once dealt with, you will wonder why on earth you didn't do it sooner! With early and aggressive treatment hopefully you will be able to avoid a potential infection.

Secrets to BBQ

Have you ever wondered how to get that great BBQ taste, or that perfect BBQ look? I have. I love the taste of BBQ as long as my food isn't burnt or looks burnt. Sometimes it even tastes good but doesn't look good. Here's one, of many examples, for you to try.

Start with chicken, for example. Place the chicken in a salt water brine. The brine is about four cups of water to 3 table spoons of salt. Mix this well with a whisk. Place chicken in the brine and cover with plastic wrap, then put the chicken into the refrigerator for one to two hours, no longer than over night. ALWAYS keep the chicken cold. When you take it out to the grill, place it on ice, unless all the chicken will fit on the grill at the same time. Always wash your hand after handling raw chicken.

When your ready start your grill let the coals burn for about ten to twenty minutes. Set them up on each side of the grill leaving room in the middle for a foil drip pan. Then go prep your chicken. Drain the chicken well and pat dry. Mix a dry rub or buy a seasoning packet and rub into the skin of the chicken. Make sure all the pieces are about the same size so that they all cook through to a temp of about 165-170. Most times you'll need to cut the breast into two pieces.

Make or buy your favorite BBQ sauce and pour it into a bowl that you can get a BBQ brush into very easily. Now for the grill. Place your hand above the grill grate and count, one one hundred, two one hundred, three one hundred, ouch. Your grill is now ready to use. Use a grill brush and clean your grill. Then using a pair of tongs, fold a paper towel, or dish cloth, and dip it into some oil and oil the grill grate. Then place the chicken on the grill. Cook low and slow for about 5 to 8 minutes after putting your BBQ sauce on. Close the lid so that the vent is over the chicken. in about 5 to 8 minutes turn the chicken over and repeat.

Always check on your chicken.

Not all grills cook at the same temperature or at the same time. When you think the chicken is done, place a meat thermometer into the middle of the breast or the middle of the thigh, careful not to touch the bone. If the thermometer reads 165-170 then your ready to eat. Remember to make sure to vent the top over the food for a great smoked taste without the 'charcoal' look. Remember to baste your food about every five to ten minutes AFTER you turn it over on the grill.

How to Deal With Stress and Anxiety at Holiday Time

There is a method you can learn, just by reading this article to the end, which can take some of the pressure off this holiday season. It can help you deal with the stress and anxiety you may be experiencing.

Stress? It is a bundle of negative feelings that seem to surge up when the pressure is on!

Anxiety. Worry. Fear and panic attacks. Boiling anger. Tears of frustration. Deep grief and sadness. Extreme fatigue.

Put it all together, experiencing all of these feelings at the same time (and humans are good at that!) - and you have "stress"! You may not identify any of those individual feelings as an issue when the pressure is on. These are feelings that group together, surge up as if out of nowhere and ambush us - and we say, "I am SO stressed out!"

And a lot of people are feeling the pressure this 2011 holiday time. Unemployment or the risk of it. Tightening the belt just in case. Worry about making the mortgage and the rent, not to mention the credit card bills. And fulfilling the "traditional expectations" of providing a happy holiday to the family - filled with gifts, parties and special trips or visits - add to the stress and anxiety.

And that's just the economic concerns! What about your health? What about having time to get everything done at work, and for the family? Lots of people are just plain exhausted at year-end! What if something goes wrong... now?

There is a method you can learn, just by continuing to read this, for instant stress relief. It is how to de-stress completely and let go of anxiety and worry you may be experiencing this holiday season.

It is one of the ways I teach to let go of feelings that can overwhelm you. And what is stress but an overload of feelings that make you crazy, not to mention tired? Learn it. Practice it. Do it over and over.

Here it is. Keep your eyes gently closed for the whole thing once you have learned it, so that you can focus on Self.

1) Close your eyes for a quiet moment.

2) Think about an activity of the holiday season that makes you feel anxious [substitute worried; angry; depressed; frustrated - as the case may be]. Maybe an activity you haven't started yet, because "how am I going to have the time/money to do it?"

3) Now bring your attention to your body - especially your throat, chest and stomach areas. Notice if you have a clenching, a heaviness or tight feeling in one of those places, or a pushing (like a fist pushing from the inside out).

4) That clenching is the anxiety feeling! That is what is making you feel anxious!

5) Picture an imaginary door over the body area you feel the clenching or pushing. Open the door in your mind's eye. Let the clenching "energy" leave through the door. Watch it go! Allow it to leave.

6) Now? Just keep the door open for one or two minutes. Just say to yourself, "I'm letting this feeling which is just a trapped energy go free now."

7) Focus on keeping the door open; it's easy because it is just a mental decision - "I'm keeping the door open." Why? Feelings are just trapped energy - trapped in our body (in this case) and waiting for an opening (which you have just made) to leave through!

Well, is one time enough? No! Do this process every time the pressure-cooker-feelings come up!

Therapists have been using this process for decades, under a variety of names. "You feel it in your body/you let it go from the body" is basically how most feelings can be released - for good!

Most feelings? Yes, but I might go so far as to say, "All Feelings!"

So use this 7-step releasing process for any feeling that "grabs you in the body" - anxiety or fear, anger, frustration, irritation, worry, sadness, panic. Do this any time your throat gets tight, or you get a hard ball in the solar plexus - or find yourself clenching your fists or any muscles!

Release the pressure - keep the door open. And open up to a much more relaxed holiday season. No matter what is going on around you, you can use this method to stay calm, cool and collected!

Time Management - The Core Principles of Getting Things Done

David Allen's book, Getting Things Done is one of the hottest time management books on the market today. Getting Things Done is not only the title of his book, but is a time management system he created. Most fortune 500 companies employ some or all of his techniques. Here is a brief review of the core principles of his system.

The core principles of Getting Things Done (GTD) are collect, process, organize, review, and do.

Collect:

David wants you to dump all the ideas and tasks that you need to get done that are in your head down on paper or some other collecting device. He emphasizes stress free productivity. The basis of this is to get everything out of your head and onto paper.

Process:

Now deal with every item you have written down. If it takes less than two minutes David says to do it right away. If not, then either delegate it or defer it. If an item does not require action than either file it, throw it away, or put it in a file for possible action later.

Organize:

Allen then describes the lists to keep track of and organize your tasks. They are "next actions," which means what is the next action for this task. The next list is "projects," anything that requires more than one task to complete becomes a project. The "waiting for" list is for tasks you delegated to someone else to remind you to check on them again. The last list is "someday/maybe," this is for things that will be done at some point, like learning Spanish.

Review:

Allen wants you to review every list you have every day to help keep you on task. Any item not done this week, needs to be reviewed weekly for the next action step.

Do:

This one is obvious, but you can't spend all your time organizing and making lists. At some point you need to take action.

Getting Things Done is a great time management book by David Allen. He has many books and tools available to help you achieve more with less.

Will Your Home Improvements Pay You Back?

Spring seems the perfect time for renovations, both inside and outside. How do you know that the money you put into your home will come back to you?

While there are some things that you just have to do, like replace a leaky roof or inoperable hot water heater. These things decrease the value of your home, so you have to take care of them. But where do the visual improvements pay you back? Are they worth it?

First, I think you have to look at your home. Consider the age first of all. For example, my mother is holding on to the home her uncle built for her mother 60 years ago. He wasn't a carpenter and didn't know what he was doing. The home has had minimum major repairs and only slight upkeep over the years. It needs a new roof, new walls in some places, new ceiling, new piping, new electrical, new windows, new floorboards and so on. There isn't anything that doesn't need to be replaced. She wants to keep updating it, but her money isn't doing anything. It needs $50,000 worth of repairs to raise it's value. Several thousand aren't going to do anything for it.

But if you have a home in good condition, chances are that by wisely improving it, you can increase the value of your home.

But you have to put your money in the right places. One of the most popular improvements is finishing a basement. This has one of the lowest rates of return. The average payback is less than 50% of your cost. So if you spend $10,000, expect an increase of less than $5,000.

Updates in the most frequently used areas, such as the kitchen and bathrooms, give you between 75% and 90% return. These are the areas that you should focus on. But be wise when making decisions. Stick with traditional styles and materials. Keep colors neutral and make moderate choices. You may want a high-end stove, but you may be better off with a mid-range if you are looking to get a good return on the investment.

Extras are nice in a home, but they really don't pay you back either. Whirlpools, fireplaces and decks are nice, but they will only get you a return of around 10%. What is important to you may not be important to potential buyers.

But you may not be looking to sell.

If you are making remodeling choices for yourself and plan to live in the home for the next twenty years, go ahead and pick what you want. Remember that this is your home and if it is something you can afford, who says that you have to get all of your money back out of it? Just make wise choices and think about the future before you invest money into your home. It will pay you back in the long run.

How Do Famous People With Cancer Get Special Medical Treatment?

Even in these difficult times, wealth will still get you far better service than the average person. Would you do anything different if you were faced with life and death and were really rich? Money is there to be used, after all.

This is how someone with a terminal illness spent $250,000 to add years to his life.

Mr. Joseph, a senior executive at a large company learned that he had terminal Stage 4 kidney cancer. Mr. Joseph was not famous but he was wealthy. He took bold action and contacted consultants for drug companies and offered himself as their next project.

He spent $50,000 to get a personal medical symposium - with four of the best kidney cancer experts in the world - immediately organized. The doctors soon recognized the best treatments for him, recommended the most appropriate drugs and treatment programs and got him admitted into a treatment program.

Mr. Joseph's health improved dramatically from the treatments, just like the not- so- wealthy people in that same program. But he stayed relatively healthy, while other patients with similar disease stages were going downhill; these other people did not have the knowledge or money to find the best therapy or the money to travel to the specific treatment site was at. But Mr. Joseph's health began to decline after six months in the program. By that time, other patients, not in the program, were already beginning to die.

But now he needed another treatment regimen or he was a goner. The medical researchers recommended experimental treatments for him, and the consulting company tried to get him admitted into these clinical trials.

Mr. Joseph was not allowed into these clinical trials because he had other unusual medical conditions. No amount of money would get him into controlled clinical trials. So he needed another way to get those medications.

Sometimes drug companies will make exceptions, but not this time. No amount of money was enough to open a slot for him in controlled clinical trials. So he needed another way to get the medications. He didn't have enough money to buy a drug company, so he did the next best thing.

Mr. Joseph spent $100,000 to have the experimental medicines formulated - just for him - by medicinal chemists. By that time, his symptoms had become very serious, and he was too tired to get out of bed. He knew he had only a few months of life left.

But the chemists delivered on time and Mr. Joseph got his very own supply of an experimental cancer drug. With that drug, he began to recover within two weeks. Three weeks later, he got out of bed and four weeks after that, he was able to walk around his neighborhood. Then, he went back to work part-time. That wonderful situation lasted almost a year when the cancer spread again and he began to go downhill once more.

Another $100,000 got Mr. Joseph a second experimental cancer drug and kept him alive and at work for almost another year before the cancer began to spread again. But this time, it kept spreading and none of the experimental medicines could help. He died a year later, surrounded by his friends and family. His money bought him an extra two years with his wife and kids.

Would you do anything different?

BV Cures 3 Day System - Can it Cure Bacterial Vaginosis?

Is the BV Cures book 3 Days to Permanent Bacterial Vaginosis Relief worth your time and money? Can it really help you cure BV naturally from home? Kristina Tomlin's book makes some bold claims on her website, and if you're skeptical it's no surprise. I studied this book thoroughly and here's what I found inside:

Descriptions of natural BV cures and why they work 3 step system for immediate relief Common misconceptions of symptoms Long term strategies to cure Vaginal Bacterial Infections Antibiotic treatment facts and information Common recurrent BV causes and home remedies Similarities and differences to other conditions Does BV Cures 3 Days to Permanent Bacterial Vaginosis Relief Provide Quality Information?

Reading Ms. Tomlin's book, I was pleased to find an exhaustive amount of information about Vaginitis in general. There is enough information in here to give the reader a thorough understanding without getting too clinical. The book clears up many common misconceptions and compares BV to other similar conditions. The first step to dealing with any condition is to gain understanding, and the book certainly delivers in this respect.

Are Home Remedies Safe?

The three-step treatment system is surprisingly simple to follow and uses inexpensive ingredients, many of which are common household items. There are many rumors floating around on the Internet about home cures for vaginal bacterial infections, and the accuracy of these is often questionable. For safe and effective home treatment, you should be careful about who is providing the information. Unlike many of the online sources of gossip and questionable information, here you have an expert providing detailed home cures for common BV symptoms.

Antibiotics For Treatment

The antibiotic treatment chapter was very informative, and it talks about the long term effects of antibiotics in a way that really makes you think about what your options for treatment are. The book is not antidoctor, but does emphasize that certain things do need to be addressed to cure Bacterial Vaginosis permanently. Antibiotic treatments will kill the bacteria but don't get to the root of the problem. This chapter explains why.

Can I Get Rid Of BV Permanently?

One of the biggest challenges chronic sufferers face is how to get rid of recurrent BV permanently. This book addresses that issue and provides a system to identify possible causes. After reading this book, you will have the knowledge to identify what lifestyle changes you can make to get permanent relief from Bacterial Vaginosis. BV Cures is recommended for people who are looking for alternative medicine to help manage symptoms more effectively, but it can not take the place of your doctors advice.

How To Get More Information

If you think you may have BV but have not been diagnosed, you should seek your doctors opinion. Only your doctor can give you a proper diagnosis. For those of you who have already been diagnosed or are suffering from recurrent Vaginitis, home remedies are a good way to manage symptoms and get rid of Bacterial Vaginosis permanently

Financing Your Car - What You Should Know

Buying a new car is the dream of many Americans; as a result many are sold each year, that is after financing is obtained in order to pay for them. While you might think going and picking out a car and then receiving on the spot financing is relatively easy it is not always so. Before you head to your local dealership to buy the car of your dreams, consider these tips on automobile financing.

Tip #1 Credit Score

Your credit score has everything to do with whether or not you receive automobile financing as well as the interest rates and down payment requirements you will receive. Because of this it is incredibly important for you to know your credit score before you ever head to the dealership. If your credit score is above 600 then you should be able to get financing without too much trouble, however if your score is below 600 you should spend a few months lowering your bills and focusing on increasing your credit score so you can not only qualify for financing, but also for a great interest rate in order to buy that new car.

Tip #2 Compare Rates

Different lending institutions from banks, online lenders and the dealership will be able to finance your vehicle. However, each of them is likely to have different interest rates, fee structures, and general requirements for you to meet. As a result, you should evaluate as many financing options as possible in order to find the best deal for you. Because, when it comes down to it, you don't want to pay a single cent more than you have to for your car financing needs.

Tip #3 Get Pre-Approved

If there is any way you can get pre-approved for auto financing then you should do so. The reason for this is when you are pre-approved and head to the dealership you will be able to negotiate as if you had cash in hand. This will allow you to qualify for all the rebates and discounts the dealership might be offering and you can negotiate the price of the vehicle down as well.

Following these tips will help you get the best financing available to you considering your personal credit score and financial situation, not to mention the car of your dreams. So follow these tips, save money and finally put that new car in your driveway.

Employee Privacy - How Far Should Monitoring Go?

Employees can reasonably expect privacy within the workplace, but with the advent of social networking sites, traceable emails and phonecalls, employers are increasingly running into the question, 'should I snoop and if so, how much?' There is a difference between Googling a candidate who's applied for a job and checking an existing employee's Facebook account to see if they've been up to anything immoral, but both can lead to problems. What if there's information about the candidate they didn't disclose to you, but which would stop you from hiring them if they had? What if your employee was photographed taking drugs - would this give you reason to fire them even though it was outside working hours?

On the other hand it's sometimes reasonable to monitor what your employees are up to. Phonecalls for example are monitored in call centres to ensure good customer service and to act as training aids. Some employers monitor website usage to ensure employees don't spend all day on social media sites. The trouble with any sort of monitoring is that it can act as a great demotivator. Employees need a certain amount of 'downtime' in between work but might feel they're not allowed it because every move is watched. This can lead to a lack of fun in the workplace and an atmosphere of stagnation.

If you do choose to monitor your employees it's important to have clear guidelines in place. What will be monitored, for example, and why. Allowing the employee to understand the reason behind the monitoring makes it seem less like an invasion of privacy and more like a training exercise, for their benefit as well as for yours. This lets them work to certain goals and expectations (knowing their work will be checked) and gives you as an employer recourse should any issues occur with that work.

If your monitoring includes the general public - for example if you record telephone conversations you should disclose this. Many call centres play messages before an operator comes on the line, alerting the caller to the fact that the call might be recorded. This reinforces the expectations of those associated with your company and keeps everyone aware of the processes you have in place.

Employee monitoring sometimes goes too far, and there have been several stories in the press recently about lawsuits brought against employers for breach of privacy. Employers are rarely justified in reading personal emails for example, unless they seriously suspect the employee of wrongdoing. If you find that your employee is setting up a rival company and trying to take clients with them, then you're somewhat justified. If you find nothing more than that all those secretive phonecalls were down to them arranging a surprise party for their spouse, you end up looking like the bad guy.

Whatever level of monitoring you choose to implement (if any) you need to ensure it doesn't become a slippery slope. Set your boundaries and stick to them - barring serious, justified suspicions, anything outside your guidelines is none of your business

How Lucky Can You Get

The Australian Oxford Dictionary describes luck as 1 either good or bad fortune 2 circumstances of life (beneficial or not) brought by this 3 good fortune; success due to chance (in luck; out of luck) etc.

I'm exceptionally lucky, although I sometimes forget especially when, as happens in life, something briefly throws me off balance. Luckily for me, I'm back up and at 'em in next to no time!

My personal definition of lucky is:

**Finding an unexpected shopping bargain;

**Having someone do something out of the kindness of their heart;

**Missing a crowded train or bus, instead taking an empty cab ride home;

**Having the love of children and family (including pets);

**A close and supportive circle of friends;

**Having optimum health and emotional wellbeing such as:

**20/20 vision;

**having a sense of smell - the smell of roses and daffodils, percolated coffee and freshly baked bread;

**the ability to taste chocolate, prawns, smoked salmon and the strawberries in the bottom of a glass of champagne (well maybe not all at the same time!);

**Inner peace;

**Knowing I have the ability to accept who I am and be comfortable in my skin;

**Having self-respect; and

**Knowing I always have a choice - I will either decide my luck is bad or my luck is great!

Not only that if I kept going I'd know that I was lucky that I'm alive, lucky that I do what I do and lucky that I've got a sense of humour for when the going gets tough!

Because luck is good or bad, continual thinking one has bad luck (perceived or not) ends up with getting more of the same. Next time an event happens that's perceived to be bad, think of all the positives that come from it. There are always positives regardless of the event.

Earlier today I bought several items, including a dozen eggs at our local supermarket. After I paid for my groceries I picked up my bags and made my way to the exit. Imagine my horror as the bag containing the eggs fell to the floor - egg yokes clearly visible inside the bag. I calmly and carefully picked up the bag and drove home, with the eggs still inside the bag lying on the floor of the car. When I got home I carefully took out the eggs that were whole and washed off the goo. How lucky for me that instead of ALL broken eggs I ended up with 7 still intact! Now that's what I call good luck!

Recently I booked my car in for a routine service before an interstate trip visiting family. To cut a long story short, I ended up without a vehicle for two weeks because the pistons had collapsed. Apparently had I continued driving the vehicle it probably would have had disastrous consequences - how lucky was that?

Questions to ask your self:

Turn "Why does this always happen to me?" into "life happens and today it's happening to me"

Turn "Bad luck seems to follow me everywhere" into "How can I better deal with life's experiences?"

Turn "I can never get an even break!" into "What can I do now to become more aware of opportunities and take them?"

If you've ever thought "How come everyone else is luckier than me?" Think of who exactly is 'everyone' and at what price does their 'luck' come? They may be lonely, work 80 hours per week, or lacks the support of family or friends. How hard did they work to be so lucky? I've had people say to me how lucky I am - I simply look at things differently and work hard towards achieving my goals.

Luck is what you make it; others may be wishing they were as lucky as you.

Churning Out Ezine Content

Creating your own content can be a challenge if you publish your own online newsletter or Ezine.

However, regardless of any topic you are publishing on, types of contents can be generally divided into four categories, namely factual content, short tips, mini stories and case studies.

Other than writing your own content, you can get your own unique content the quick and easy way by organizing an interview with an expert or leader in the topic.

Very often, this can be done for free and since the interviewee is writing out most of the content, there is nothing else for you to do other than giving the interviewee something valuable in exchange (maybe a meal!).

Now if you have money to spare, you can hire a ghostwriter to write your content for you without taking any credit. Recommended professional marketplaces where you can seek ghostwriters include http://www.elance.com/ and http://www.rentacoder.com/.

Another little known and underused method in getting your own content is via public domains. If you are not familiar with the term "public domain", "public domain" simply means anything that is NOT protected under US copyright law.

This includes ALL works published before 1923 and, under certain conditions, works published up to 1978. And in this case, we are referring "works" to written materials such as reports, articles and books.

Republishing and repackaging public domain information can help you save time and effort from creating new ideas and content as they are readily available. On top of that, you do not have to pay royalties or copyright fees on that work.

If you fancy the idea of publishing content without any writing on your part, this method is for you.

30 Ways to be a Butt-Head Boss

1. Trust no one. Not your superiors and not your employees. Especially not your employees. They're probably out to get you anyway.

2. Believe that all of your people are lazy, good-for-nothing slackers. Remind them of that frequently.

3. Get mad and shout a lot. This will reinforce to your "workers" that you mean business.

4. Never grant special favors. Having babies, being sick, taking time off to go to weddings, funerals or 50th anniversaries are just ways to get out of work. Don't let them get away with it.

5. Try not to make decisions. Decisions will only give your boss a reason to fire you. If a decision is absolutely necessary, try to postpone it as long as possible.

6. Do not tolerate errors. Of any kind or any size. Even the smallest of errors just reinforces the fact that your people are screw-ups. Fire people for minor infractions.

7. Criticize. Never be satisfied with any of your employees' work products. If they were trying at all, they would be doing better.

8. Refuse to listen to suggestions. Your subordinates are just trying to get you to do something that will get you into trouble. They don't have the sense god gave a goose anyway. Your way is the right way.

9. Complain to various employees how bad the others are. Try to get them on your side so they'll group together and force the really worthless people to leave.

10. Change your mind often. About everything - policies, procedures, work assignments. Don't let your employees become complacent with the way things are.

11. Come into work late and leave early. Take long lunches. Show your people that you're the boss and can do whatever you want.

12. Prohibit office celebrations and parties. No birthdays, no holiday parties or decorating, no nothing. This is no place to be goofing off. There is work to do.

13. Never praise your people. They'll just expect more of it. Besides, no one ever does anything that's worth recognizing anyway.

14. Never tell any of your employees exactly what you do. They'll use it against you.

15. Refuse to discuss the status of the company with any of your employees. Finances and future plans are none of their business. They need to focus on just their jobs.

16. Do not train your employees. Give them only the minimum information they need to do their jobs. Let them prove themselves by figuring out the details.

17. Definitely do not cross-train your people. That will only cause them to get big-headed about how much they know. Don't give them a reason to complain about their miserable wages.

18. Give the easy jobs to the employees who always agree with you. They've earned it.

19. Give the really cushy jobs to the really "friendly" people - the cutest or best looking ones who aren't afraid to show just how friendly they are. Being a boss is tough. You deserve your perks.

20. Petty cash is your discretionary lunch money. Enjoy it.

21. Cut company expenses by firing whoever you want. Demand increases in productivity from those remaining. Maybe they will eventually get the idea that they need to get to work.

22. Never show your people that you care about them. It would make you look weak and erode your status as a boss.

23. Display your power. Sit behind a big desk. Make sure all the other chairs in your office are much lower than yours.

24. Never go to employees' work stations to discuss anything - unless you need to chew them out. You're much too important to leave your office. Make them come to you.

25. Use meetings to intimidate your employees. Be loud, be forceful, pound the table - show them who's boss.

26. Do not accept the blame for anything. When your people screw up, it's completely their fault. Never yours.

27. Take full credit for everything good that happens in your group. None of your employees are smart enough to have done it by themselves.

28. Never, ever make your own coffee. You're much too important to spend your time doing that.

29. Tell your employees that you're reading ALL e-mails whether you do or not. Do not permit them to make personal phone calls for any reason. Make sure they know that you are watching their every move. You can't trust any of them.

30. Never, never, never give any of your people access to the Internet. They'll just waste their time accessing porn sites or maybe even self-improvement sites like NuPathz.com.

Abundance Flourishes in an Atmosphere of Integrity

There's no way to fake INTEGRITY. You are either are IN INTEGRITY offering a PURE positive vibration which the Law of Attraction responds to. Or you're OUT of INTEGRITY which creates a negative or mixed vibration, which the Law of Attraction cannot ignore.

Here's a real-life story which demonstrates what happens to our vibration when we are out of INTEGRITY.

I was feeling pretty upbeat after our coaching session yesterday and really excited about winning a prize pack from the radio station.

After picking up my prize, I noticed Spyware, an electronics store, and decided to go in and compare prices with an item I had just bought from Radio Shack yesterday. Spyware had the exact same item on sale for $10.00 less so I bought it with the intention of returning the first item to Radio Shack. When I compared the two products they were exactly the same, with the exact same bar codes and packaging. However, I noticed the cheaper item had one wire a couple centimeters shorter than the more expensive item. I made a decision to return the item with the shorter wire (the one purchased at Spyware) back to Radio Shack and keep the original item. Thus saving $10.00 but keeping the better product.

After the clerk had finished all the paperwork I felt extremely guilty. But then I rationalized it was too late to do anything about it and told myself I would just have to let this guilt go. What a way to bring my high vibration to a crashing halt. I reminded myself that this is why I shouldn't do things like this in the first place because not only can I not live with the guilt but now it is a double whammy because I'm so aware of my vibration and this is bringing it way down.

Anytime we do something that is not in alignment with our core values, we feel negative emotions which hinder us from receiving the real desires of our heart.

The antidote is simple: be honest, pay all debts, return what you've borrowed, speak kindly about others and keep your word. In other words, do nothing that will hinder the flow of pure positive energy toward you. Be true to your self and you'll open the way for receiving everything that will make you happy.

This same client had such an opportunity to 'make it right' on an energetic level. Again, she wrote:

I was feeling pretty bad when I returned to my office, and then remembered I needed to go to the bank. I went up to the bank machine and there was $40.00 sitting in the slot. Someone had forgotten to take it with them after they finished their transaction. They had also forgotten to take their bank slip. I took both out of the machine and put them in my pocket while I did my own banking.

Now I was dealing with the moral dilemma of what I should do with the found money. I so badly wanted to keep the money as I am heavily in debt with all my credit cards almost maxed out. I tried rationalizing: The bank slip doesn't have the account number on it so it's not like one can trace it but it did say that the person had a balance of $195.00 which isn't very much. I remembered how I felt when I once left $20.00 in the bank machine myself and went back for it but it was gone.

I then decided to go into the bank and leave the $40.00 with a bank teller. While I was waiting in line, another lady came into the bank and told me I left my card in the bank machine so I went back to get it. Then she came back again saying now I'd left my bank slip in the machine. This is how frazzled I was!

Anyways, I gave the money to a bank teller with my business card and I am feeling much better.

I feel like the Universe gave me an opportunity not only to redeem myself but also an opportunity to change my vibration after something I've done in the past that I feel badly about.

Indeed! This client demonstrates the wonderful way the Law of Attraction works: Her dominant intention was to offer a high vibration so that she can attract more money and enjoy her life.

The Law of Attraction arranged an opportunity (the item from Radio Shack.) Her actions in the first opportunity caused her vibration to drop, which didn't feel good. So she RESET her intention to feel good, and the Law of Attraction sent her another opportunity to take actions that feel better.
